Paper cups are paper containers made by mechanically processing and bonding base paper (white cardboard) produced from chemical wood pulp, featuring a cup-like shape. Paper cups for frozen foods are wax-coated and can hold ice cream, jam, butter, etc. Paper cups for hot beverages are plastic-coated, resistant to temperatures above 90°C, and can even hold boiling water. Paper cups are characterized by safety, hygiene, lightness, and convenience. They are used in public places, hotels, and restaurants as disposable items.
Paper cups are divided into single-sided PE-coated paper cups and double-sided PE-coated paper cups.
Single-sided PE-coated paper cups: Paper cups made from single-sided PE-coated paper are called single PE paper cups (commonly found in the market, such as advertising paper cups, which are mostly single-sided PE-coated). Their feature is: the inner side of the cup that holds liquid has a smooth PE coating.
Double-sided PE-coated paper cups: Paper cups made from double-sided PE-coated paper are called double-sided PE paper cups. Their feature is: both the inner and outer sides of the cup have a PE coating.
